This capacity is predicated on an influent water hardness of 180 ppm with conventional bypass configurations.

Guidelines for Installation

The system can be utilised in a freestanding position, positioned horizontally, or affixed vertically.

When attaching vertically to a wall, firmly attach the mounting bracket to the wall with appropriate screws.

The water pressure at the filter system input must not surpass 116 psi (8 bar). A pressure reducing valve must be installed on the water supply side of the filtration system if the inlet pressure surpasses 116 psi (8 bar).

A shutoff valve must be positioned upstream of the filter. Consult the Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual for cartridge flushing and initiation procedures.

Operational Recommendations

Replace the Claris Ultra Cartridge when reaching its predetermined water capacity or at a minimum annually.

Always flush the filter cartridge during installation and upon cartridge replacement.

Avoid utilising hardness test strips to assess hardness loss. Utilise a titration kit to assess the reduction of hardness.
